Here’s something that you might not hear about back in the States. In this morning’s edition of The Standard (Hong Kong’s only free daily English newspaper) was this exciting article:
So in the future, kids won’t go out and try and catch fireflys in the fields after sunset. No. In the future we can watch for glowing cats chasing fireflys after sunset. And be very afraid of what science will create next.
I don’t know about you, but I would make an exception to the “no more pets” rule if we could get one of these monstrosities of nature. They sound fun.
Well, wait until you wake up in the middle of the night with that staring at you. Or even running in and jumping up on the bed. Ha!
Dude, peeps, leave nature alone! Oh well. Nature is a be-otch.
And you think the cats keep us up all night now…HAH!
(but I want one. but you knew I would say that)
That’s just wrong on so many levels.
