OMG! BATMAN!!!

I was just told the most awsomest news ever!  They are filming for the new Batman movie (The Dark Knight) right here in Hong Kong for one week starting tomorrow.  And it’s not just in some unknown part of the city or at 4am in the morning.  It’s going to be during the day right on the escalator near Queens Road in the very heart of Central (the main business district).  That’s only about a 3 minute walk from my office since it’s just uphill from there on the escalator.

This is huge!  That means that at the very least, Christian Bale will be within spitting distance from my office.  Possibly Heath Ledger and who knows who else including director Christopher Nolan.  If I can’t play sick tomorrow, I will at least be taking a long lunch and try to get a peek at the action.  The area is extremely busy during the day so I can only imagine that there will be crowds of people.  This also means I’ll have to find an alternate way to and from work as I normally use the escalator area just like most people.

I swear if I can get on camera or if they need a token white guy as an extra, work can freaking kiss my butt and wait for me to get back.  I’m all a twitter.  Hee hee.
