New project: Dangerous

I saw this article today and of course my mind started reeling with the things I could do with the idea of making my own laser out of spare parts.  It looks pretty easy, especially after checking the step-by-step instructions and all the comments.

I mean, if one laser diode and a mini maglite can do what’s in this video, then imagine a full size maglite and a bunch of laser diodes.  Or better yet, a big 9V camping lantern and a ton of diodes.

Maybe I could take over a third world country yet….

LOL. This post is so much a “boy post”. I can totally hear the wheels turning over here in this other country.

I have a question for you, sorry for being so out of the blue with this, but here goes.

What is up with world trade of video games? In this day and age you would think it would be easy to get the REAL Asian games from Japan and the like. So why is it so hard to lay your hands on these ORIGINAL TOTALLY AWESOME games that are supposed to be sooooo much better than the American versions?
Am I even able to explain my question well enough here? Gah.

Shannon, I think I can shed some light on that question. I’ll write a post about it tomorrow. Assuming I remember of course! :)
