Pownce

Yoshi forced me to try out this bizarre web thingy called Pownce. He did… at gunpoint… seriously. Check it out, it seems like Twitter but less useless. Seriously, Twitter is just like global post-it notes. Really freaking lame and really freaking boring. I’ll probably feel the same way about Pownce once Yoshi puts his gun down but for now I’m screwing around with it.

You can see my page at http://pownce.com/cybrpunk/ and it’s really boring so far since I just set it up. And it will probably continue to be boring too. But hey, what the hell. Why not try it. Besides, this thing is seriously showing off my complete lack of friends….

  Wait, are you trying to say that it’s possible for something to be MORE useless than Twitter?

  Pownce looks like a me-too of twitter, though.

  Hmm… I was just pointed to Pownce a couple days ago from an article about “Pretty” social websites and Pownce was given as a prettier alternative to Twitter.

  oh yea, I got the less useless, but it made me think that it’s possible that somewhere out there is some website even more useless than twitter.

  My theory is if you have time to keep twitter up to date, you aren’t doing anything worthwhile.

  Personally, I use twitter and pownce for spamming my site. :p
