Hwuh?
Woohooo! I had an interview today! And it went very well I think. It was at A.G. Edwards downtown and the job is a R&D, eval and design type position. That would be so cool. I am all set. I sure hope I get it.
One weird thing was the application you have to fill out. Pretty basic stuff except you have to account for EVERY job you’ve ever gotten a paycheck from. Hwuh? I don’t have that kind of info! I don’t remember the address of Six Flags or Hardees that I worked at in High School. I don’t know contact info for supervisors I don’t remember at Wal-Mart. Hell I didn’t even have addresses for any of my previous jobs. It’s just never been needed before. So needless to say there were a lot of blanks. Hopefully that won’t come back to haunt me. That and they supposedly do a FBI background check too. Since they are a stock trading company I guess that is important. I wonder what skeletons they will be able to dredge up from my younger years.
Got my taxes finally done tonight too. That’s a relief. Need to go make copies and mail it all off tomorrow. Refunds! Wheee!
