The big day
OK I am really nervous. Today, actually in one and a half hours, I get my LASIK surgery done. I woke up and hour before my alarm and then again a half hour before. At that point I gave up and got something to eat. I also noticed a sore throat and a bit of a cough. OH wonderful. So two Dayquil and a peanut butter and jelly sandwich later I am ready. As ready as I can be at least. My Mom will be here any minute to drive me out there. Only a few more minutes to chicken out. But I’m going to do it. I’ve been wanting this laser surgery for a few years now and this is the ideal time to do it. So here I go.
Wish me luck and a speedy recovery so that I might be functional to do the things I had previously planned for tomorrow. Here goes everything.
