Episode 2

Thursday, May 16th, 2002

Well, Star Wars Episode 2 came out today and I’m sure there are lots of people who have called in sick to go see it. It was estimated that 3 million people would be “unable to come to work due to illness” today. I’ve even read that some theaters started showing it at 12:01am this morning. That would be pretty cool, I suppose.
After looking at the reviews, I’m still not rushing out to see it. No matter if the reviewer loved it or hated it (more seemed to just not like it much) they all seemed to agree on the fact that the dialogue is bad and the editing near non-existant. They all seem to note the excessive political rhetoric. I’ve never put much stock in newspaper reviews before, so I will still wait for my friends to rush out and see what they have to say.

In my best Simpson’s “Comic Book Guy” impersonation: Best Movie Ever.
I’ve been saying that ever since I got out of the theater. I can’t help it. Not only was the movie better than my twisted mind built it up to be, I can’t think of a single movie I have EVER enjoyed more. Seriously. And if you have clicked on the menu item that says DVDs you’ll get a small idea of how much of a movie person I am.

Best Movie Ever. 11 out of 10. I’m not sure what else to say. GO SEE IT!!!

I don’t know how Lucas can even hope to compete with this. Episode One sucked, so I’m not even planning on seeing “When Clones Attack”. I know that’s not the real title, but it’s no worse than the real one.

Maybe you’ve seen this

Maybe you’ve already seen this but I just saw and thought it was hysterical. Somebody has made a website dedicated to their Redneck Neighbor.
I hope my neighbors see this and acknowledge that my lack of yardwork is nothing compared to this guy.
