Psychic? Yeah right!

Friday, March 29th, 2002

I have always had a problem with the late night info-mercials for Miss Cleo’s psychic hotlines. It seems that others have no problem with her as she seems to have a $400 million per year racket going.
Well, I guess they should have seen these problems coming. They are being sued by the FTC, 11 states and many others. You can read this great article to get more info.
I found this info on another blog site called Blather. Good site.

Evil stitches

Monday, March 25th, 2002

Well, my wisdom tooth drama is coming to an end. All of the temporary stitches came out Saturday and Sunday and the evil black ones came out this morning. But not willingly. The ones on the right side were ok, but the ones on the left side must have been a bit tighter. When the poor assistant pulled on those things and cut them I had to restrain from squirming and resign myself to squeaking and making pained faces.
They gave me a funny little syringe thingy to squirt in the holes to keep them clean. After being told of the alternative, I will be cleaning like mad!

Movie time

Monday, March 25th, 2002

Wow, I actually saw two movies in the theater this weekend! I just don’t get to see them as often as I would like anymore….
Anyway, after seeing ‘Resident Evil’ on Friday I got to see ‘Blade 2’ on Saturday afternoon. Let me just say that Blade 2 did not dissappoint! I loved the first movie and had high expectations of this sequel. Luckily it was great throughout and I will definitely be buying it when it comes out on DVD.
I also saw part of ‘Executive Decision’ on TV last night but missed the end. That was a pretty cool movie from what I saw. I’ll have to rent that one and see what happens.
Also watched ‘Ferris Buellers Day off’ again yesterday with my girlfriend. I love that movie. It just has to be one of the best ever….

Resident Evil

Saturday, March 23rd, 2002

Well, I had a mediocre level of expectation from the movie Resident Evil and it definitely exceeded those. Yoshi and I saw it earlier tonight and I was suitably impressed. It had just the right amount of shock, a bit of suspense and a healthy dose of violence. However there was a distinct lack of blood. There should have been buckets more in my opinion.
Anyway, if you are at all a fan of the survival horror games such as the Resident Evil games or a zombie horror movie buff, go see it! It is well worth it!

Wow. Amazing. Stunning.

Ok, there is something seriously wrong about this site dedicated to virtual staplers. Well this and the fact that I actually spent quite a few minutes playing with the various staplers and trying to find a point to it all. No success.
